Successful stories of LOSAUK:

  • LOSAUK Launched a movement for transgender hijra community.
  • LOSAUK Raised the issue at the parliament of Bangladesh. Hijra community earned the third gender recognition from the cabinet meeting.
  • LOSAUK chairperson acts as the representative on behalf of transgender hijra community of Bangladesh at the national Hijra steering committee. Movement is still going on because citizen rights of hijra community has not yet established.
  • LOSAUK is proud for creating many theatre and cultural activists.
  • LOSAUK Introduced and conducted Theatre for Development Certificate Course for educating theatre field workers.
